TORONTO, Canada - July 24, 2008 - Atomichelix releases "Atomichelix OpenPGP for
BlackBerry", the first "point-to-point" email encryption program for the
BlackBerry line of mobile smartphones.
"Atomichelix OpenPGP for BlackBerry" is an application that uses standard PGP
encryption methods on the device to securely deliver and receive messages.
The BlackBerry device itself performs the encryption and decryption of
the messages, so they are never in plaintext format during transmission.
"We are proud to offer this application to everyone that wants their email
messages completely secured on a BlackBerry device," said Atomichelix CEO,
Mathew Hreljac. "We strongly believe that all email should be sent
securely, no matter which platform one uses -- PC or mobile -- and this
application allows it on a BlackBerry for a BIS or BES user."
"By using standard PGP encryption methods," Hreljac continued, "we are
ensuring that the email messages sent from and received on your BlackBerry
device are interoperable with any PGP-enabled client program."
